POSITION SUMMARY

You will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including delivering product, picking orders, shipping and receiving. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.

• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
• Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with the company’s receiving procedures
• Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed
• Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
• Pick/ship goods to customers in a efficiently and accurately manner
• Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping
• Fill out/prepare picking tickets
• Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary
• Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times
• Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor
• Participate in yearly inventory count
• Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• HVAC experience an asset
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Good written and verbal communication skills
