Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety protocols. This role will work closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor and production personnel to maintain efficient workflow, train team members, and achieve production targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties:

• Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Manufacturing
• Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
• Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
• Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work.
• Input orders into the system with complete description and quantities specified
• Lead daily production operations, monitor workflow, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Oversee quality control checks and ensure products meet specifications.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff; establish performance metrics and monitor progress.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on output and efficiency.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure material availability for production.
• Attend meetings and contribute to initiatives that enhance ECCO Manufacturing’s success.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically capable of performing tasks in a production setting.
